Dr. Zanotti completed his orthopedic surgery residency as well as his general surgery internship at the University of Michigan School of Medicine and earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Stanfield has been in practice at The Center for Orthopedics since 1997 and serves as the Director of the Center for Bone and Joint Reconstruction at UH Elyria Medical Center. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement, sports medicine and arthroscopy. Throughout his career, Dr. Stanfield has continued to focus on joint replacement. He has studied various advanced techniques and utilizes the latest technology for joint replacement surgery, which enables him to provide his patients with a personalized surgical plan that most closely fits their individual anatomy. One such technology is Stryker's Mako SmartRoboticsâ„¢ System, an innovative robotic-arm that assists in customizing your total knee, partial knee, and total hip replacement procedures. In addition to the left ACL tear, Emily had a torn meniscus, and Dr. Daniel Zanotti knew that reconstructive surgery was the best treatment for both injuries. Unfortunately, it meant Emily would be off her Freshman High school team, but would be ready to play again in her Sophomore year, which is the season that matters for college recruitment.

Achilles Tendonitis
Dr. McCoy is devoted to helping his patients and has published research pertaining to rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, meniscal tears, customized total knee replacements, and Achilles tendon injuries. His book chapter publications include cartilage transplantation, ligament injuries of the knee, and injuries to the patella and patellar tendon. He has worked as a clinical assistant professor at Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
