Although the staff here is friendly and helpful, when I took out a refinancing home mortgage last year, loaning officials were very confusing when informing me of what I needed to do at that time. Then recently, I found out that PNC never informed my home insurance that they were my new mortgage holder when I suffered a loss and a check to remunerate was made out to my old mortgage holder and had to be corrected and resent to me which further inconvenient me after this loss. Clearly, better communication skills and completion of duties is needed in this department.
While I can't explain why they 'froze' your accounts, Chase operates like any other bank. Perhaps you should withdraw your money and put it in a mom & pop bank. They might treat you in a more courteous way, but since you travel, good luck finding their banks and atms. Chase has the most banks & atms than any other bank in the country. You don't want to deal with them personally, fine. That's why they have convienence tools like atm deposit & withdraws and online banking so you won't have deal with them...or is it the other way around?
