China Wok

I've been searching for a good Chinese take out place, close to home. Lin's Garden was quick and easy, but when they changed hands, so did the food, and not for the better. Now I'm on a quest to replace that part of the family's "dining routine". First stop... China Wok. They were very quick, by the time I actually arrived my order was ready... they said 10 minutes and apparently they meant it! They used fairly high quality ingredients (I had the garlic shrimp, with nice sized, probably 36 count shrimp) and the portions were ample. The sauces were fine, not the best General's chicken we've ever had, but serviceable. The hot & sour soup could have used some more zip and a couple more ingredients (I like mine with some pork & mushrooms which seemed to be missing in this batch). The crab rangoon was okay, but I like mine with thin wonton wrappers vs. the thick. The good news is the kids liked the food and with our busy schedule I now have a better option than China Garden... however, the quest will continue. More to come...

Their food is excellent (especially the General Tso's Chicken and the Crab Rangoon), the place is clean, and the service is FAST! Anytime we have ordered food for take out, we can pick it up in ten minutes.

I go there often. Good food. I especially like their sweet and sour chicken!
