Cap & Hitch of New England

Had hitch wiring previously installed at uhaul. Ran into problems a few months later and uhaul told me it was a problem with my trailer. After trying my trailer on another vehicle (and it worked fine) I contacted cap and hitch to see if they could take a look at it. What they found was a bad connection where they tied into my vehicles wiring with a cheap connector. Cap and hitch was able to get me in promptly and got me back on the road the same day. They used a vehicle specific wiring kit which required no splicing at all. I dont know why uhaul wouldn't use, or at least offer this type of wiring and instead use cheap universal kits.

45 minute wait to get served and then the person who was serving me didn’t know what they were talking about. Miss quoted me a few different times. Bought a new For my truck back window does not close right can’t even lock it. Been back three times bought a deck plate from them to have installed that was a confusing messWhen it came to accessories. Offered no compensation for my inconvenience. Will never do business with them again.

I've had 2 hitches installed. Clean and no issues. My jeep went right from the dealer to get the hitch installed before delivery to us.

I had a trailer hitch installed on my new KIA Wagon. When I arrived there was no wiring available since Andy claimed I did not order any. Andy never asked because I intended to use it for a trailer. Andy than claimed he would call when the wiring came in in two days. He never called and I ended up at U-Haul. Two bolts were also missing on the tail pipe hanger which I sent a picture to Andy the day of the installation. He claimed the engineer would have to look at it. I later learned shipments were not coming in on time and an employee failed to come in regularly. I have done business there before but not again. I am also writing to BBB.

They put in fog lights for me and they did a horrible job. They used the ground for the cars computer and never tightened the nut. I had numerous problems with my car starting. Went to my mechanic and he solved the problem. I went back to New England cap and hitch and explained everything to them and they agreed to install my new fog lights for free and reimburse half of my mechanics bill. This time the wiring looked very professional. The owner still blames everything on my car and is insisting that I have an electrical problem. Well I haven't had a problem since I took it to my mechanic. I highly suggest going someplace else.
