Western New York AmeriCorps, formerly known as West Seneca Americorps, is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of programs for individuals, youths and families. It offers the AmeriCorps Builds Lives through Education program, which includes one-on-one tutoring, homework assistance, mentoring and after-school care services for children. It also provides youth leadership development, community-based volunteer and outreach programs. The organization offers volunteer management and mental health services. Western New York AmeriCorps provides educational and employment skills development services for at-risk youths between the ages of 17 and 24. It also offers vocational training in the areas of construction and carpentry. The organization is located in West Seneca, N.Y.
