Shoot Straight

I have bought all of my firearms from Shoot Straight! I have shopped around as well. Whenever I see something I like or if it's just something I need to have, I am able to come down and work with their knowledgeable staff, they can always get me to a price point that I am comfortable paying. They always work in my behalf. I don't know how They do it, but they ALWAYS have the best price and even though they have been a little higher than a competitor, I will give them my business every single time because of all the the other benefits!

I want to let everyone know what an excellent job the staff at the WPB location does. I have gone from never having owned a gun or been comfortable around them six months ago to being the proud owner of four handguns, a shotgun, an AR-style .22 and my newest addition- a S&W M&P. All but 2 were purchased at this store, in addition to a new Kahr I'll pick up later this week, also from SS WPB. I'm a member and i have brought over a dozen people there to experience shooting and/or SS for the first time. I've bought thousands of rounds from SS and will happily continue to do so. The big differentiator of this operation is the people they have working there. A few people in particular deserve special mention. First and foremost, Josh is excellent at what he does and how willing he is to make his customers happy. I'm a thorough shopper and always seek a fair deal, but also reward my business to the right people, not just the cheapest. I have a high degree of confidence in the advice that Josh and his staff provide, and the fact that I feel if I have a problem with anything I purchase from him, it will be resolved with minimal hassle. This is why I will avoid buying a firearm from a show ever again. Josh has always sought to give me a fair deal, which I truly appreciate. Three other people deserve special mention: Damaris, Roxy and Vanessa. These three women have converted my daughter from being terrified to even look at a gun to comfortably nailing bulls eyes with my glock. They deserve a hand!

Hereﾒs my experience with shoot straight. I have been a local resident now for 15 years and have only dealt with Palm Beach Shooting center and Delray Shooting center and some local pawn shops. It's been my experience that the people who work there have no interest in answering questions or spending more than 2 minutes talking to someone, making customers feel like you owe them money for just talking. on my way to a gun show one day i saw a new place, Shoot Straight and stopped in for a minute. I looked around and didnt speak to anyone because i was really just checking the place out on my way to the gun show. a few weeks later i wanted to have accessories put on my inexpensive but VERY reliable and fun to shoot hi-point 9mm carbine. Out of habit, and because it is only 5 minutes from my home, I went to the same place where i've always been treated like a second class citizen, Palm Beach Shooting Center. there, the guy at the counter began by telling me what a cheap piece of crap my carbine was and then tried to sell me a $1500 rifle! i was looking for a red light laser.. ( I happen to LOVE my cheap, American made, no questions asked warranty, never failed me, affordable gun) I left this place disgusted for the last time, and figured i'd take the 20 minute drive to Shoot Straight, where I spoke to the gunsmith on duty, I wish that i could remember his name. This gentleman was the nicest gun person I'd ever spoken to, answered my questions, and gave me good ideas.

Today's visit was great, just as every other visit has been. I have spoken with most employees in the store, and every one seems very knowledgeable, as well as friendly and helpful. I was helped today by Sara K. The range was fairly busy for the middle of a week day, but the shells were cleaned up frequently by a gentleman whose name I forgot to ask for. Overall, I would rate this location extremely well ﾖ 5 stars. Every visit since the grand opening has been perfect, and this one was no exception.
