The first time I went it was crowed and had to wait an hour for a group to get up and leave before we could, oh and they don't seat you it's pretty much first come first gets, but once you get in but once inside it was a nice small night club feel. the music is loud and depending on your taste can be really good or very horrible, the waitresses are very nice and attentive most of the time. they also serve food and drinks. If you go up 2 steps you enter the main part where a small kinda runway size area is left open for people to dance while agianst the walls are more tables to sit and chill at. I recommend getting there early if you just wanna sit down cuase once the college kids arrive forget about finding a table to sit at. In all it's not too bad to spend an evening with friends or meet up with some old ones you hadn't seen in awhile. Just remeber to bring your ID, they band you by age outside so they know who not to server beer too. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night there is a 3 dollar cover charge to get in. And if you want to do huka they have a nice selection to choose from. Regular is 8.99 and it goes up from there, they also have fresh fruits ones and alcholic ones as well. One huka lasted four of us 2 hours and with 4 drinks and a premium tobacco (strawberry Daquiri) was just under 20 bucks. Pretty cheap if you ask me.

Usually generally clean. Popcorn is really poor quality. Nacho cheese is quite flavorless. Seating is adequate, bonus on the partially reclining chairs. Can be difficult to maneuver the crowds at the concessions just to even get to the show because the lobby is very cramped.
Eastside 9 has very helpful staff. My son worked here for awhile and liked his boss. Very clean theater.
