ABC Great Beginnings

I am so impressed with ABC great begginings, my kids were so upset when we informed them that they were going to go to daycare. The staff at this center made them feel right at home and welcomed them with big hearts and caring arms. My kids now beg to go to daycare to see their teachers and friends. I love all the staff and the facility is clean and safe for all children.

ABC Great Beginnings - Jordan Landing UT is an amazing childcare facility that is clean and professional. I have a five month old and a four year old and I would not choose any other center for my children. They are loved and well cared for while in the care of the amazing staff at the center. My four year old knows all her letters and how to write her name, her development has increased dramatically and she absolutely adores her teacher.My five month old is loved on and cared for day in and day out by the infant staff, they take his care seriously and they even document what he does throughout his day, so I as a parent knows when he last ate and was changed.Compared, to other childcare centers this is by far the best hands down with the most friendly staff and their level of cleanliness exceeds my expectations day in and day out.

My husband and I where so nervous to leave our baby with someone after maternity leave. The staff at ABC Jordan Landing have made it such an easy transition. Every time you walk through those doors there is always someone greeting you with a smile. They really do show that they care for the kids. The staff if always nice and very professional. When we pick up our daughter at night we get a full rundown of how her day went. I highly recommend this company.

It's a very difficult thing to leave your children with someone you hardly know. Leaving my kids in the care of ABC Great Beginnings has been one of the easiest transitions our family has come across. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The care that my kids receive shows in how happy they are to come to school everyday. Thanks ABC for all your help in making our family feel comfortable.

The toddler teachers at this center have been wonderful to my baby. He was having a lot of separation anxiety at first but the teachers are always very patient and nurturing to him and he is starting now to bond with them.

LOVE ABC Great Beginnings, we've been at the Jordan Landing location almost 5 years and I would never take my kids anywhere else. It should be noted though that YP has all their details wrong. That's not the right phone number....or hours they are open....

ABC DAY CARE is great I have my 6 year old there and he loves his teachers. We started last summer and have been so happy with the program and staff there.

worst. daycare. ever. nothing but problems and no one wants to take responsibility. teachers yelling at the kids when you pick them up at night, and acting like jeckyl and hyde when you walk into the room in the middle of it.

I love ABC. I have a 2 year old and their curiculum is amazing. I truly feel like she is loved and cared for while at daycare. She always asks to go play with her friends She is developmentally delayed and has improved 100% since we started care there. We love this daycare and would recommend it to anyone!!!! Also Water Days Are ALWAYS Fun And A HUGE PLUS

We had a very bad experience, the teachers don't have a good training, the place is chaotic. At the end of the day nobody knows where to find the kids they change the classrooms during the day it's so confusing!! Bad bad bad! So disappointing!

I have 3 children, ages 3, 7, 11 enrolled at ABC Great Beginnings. They all love the teachers and staff. My youngest is always happy to share the art and craft projects. My older children are in the school age class room and they always have something to do. The facilities are clean and well maintained. My kids enjoy the food and snacks that are provided! I have enjoyed working with this staff regarding my children's care and safety! A GREAT beginning for us!!!

We finally found the PERFECT fit at ABC. Have both a toddler & an 8 year old both attending ABC.

My 8 year old has some unique needs that he struggles to work through on a daily basis. We have utilized several daycare providers before we found ABC. The staff at ABC have been the first to treat my little guy like a kid & not like the label that had been attached to him at other centers. Thier staff ARE knowlegable, caring, professional & positive. Thier director & assitant director particularly have such compassion & such extenstive knowlege that has been literally just what the doctor ordered! The influence of the staff at ABC have truly helped reshape my sons self image. Their insight and interaction have aided him beyond measure in enhancing his skills and abilities.

My toddler, whose need are more the norm , gets treatment just as special as her brother. She loves going to daycare everyday.

Its never fun to have to leave the little ones all day, but if you leave them at ABC, you can rest assured they will be well cared for!

We've had some good and not so good experiences with ABC great beginnings. My 2 toddlers were there for about a year.

Good:

- They seem to have a pretty solid schedule with activities and change the class topics weekly.

- My kids really enjoyed going and made lots of friends.

- Most of the teachers were great and we always felt like our kids were loved and attended for (with the exceptions of when they hadn't had a diaper change all day).

- We had some trouble getting them consistent with it but they mostly potty trained my toddler

- We weren't capped at 45 hours. We usually only used 40 but some days we needed them there 10 hours because of conflicting work schedules and we weren't charged extra.

Cons:

- Biggest issue, and for some this may be a MAJOR issue but we had 2 months in a row that we were charged double despite being promised the issue was resolved the first time and when we left we were still charged a week later. They need to have someone specifically assigned to this so there aren't more errors. Our kids have now been unenrolled since Aug yet we've been charged twice for attendance.(over $1100 each time) and had to call and have them refund it.

-Their pamphlet says flipflops are recommended and we knew that and let our children make the decision to wear them. Every day for weeks the front staff would tell us they couldn't until we made them look it up in the manual, then they said well we reserve the right to prohibit them from certain behaviors like riding bikes. which was fine but we didn t like being told how to parent our children and our children made the decision to wear sneakers.

- Our children didn't always have sunblock put on which was a major concern for us because our daughter had some serious burn scars on her legs that were still healing.

- I'm not going to lie, the food they feed the children is food I'd never have in my house. Muffins, canned fruit, sugary cereals, mac n cheese, etc. I honestly don't consider anything that processed real food and it certainly isn't nutritious.

- They don't make the kids cleanup their own toys, they line the kids up on the wall and the adults clean it. You can imagine what kind of responsibility issues this is causing at home with my 3 year old who tells mommy to pick up his mess because he s overwhelmed.

- There were a few instances earlier on that it was obvious my children weren't getting their diapers changed regularly but that seemed to get resolved once we complained.

Overall I have recommended them a few times but I wouldn't say they're outstanding by any means, just your typical daycare.

Reading the reviews about the center is a gross representation

My children attend and love it the teachers are amazing and fun . Whenever I pull up the teachers are out playing with the kids . As far as staff they are amazing if you expect perfection you are reaching to high after all its a huge center with probably close to 300 enrolled .its a lil stressful at pick up but they try . There are amazing teachers/bus drivers who put your child in there highest care my son runs into a teachers arm and she is amazing . Give them a break mistakes happen and trial and error is human

At the end of the night my kids are happy and safe and I trust they are in good hands ..

My son has been going to ABC for a while now and it seems like the care is getting worse. They hire young girls who don't seem to care about the children. I go to pick up my son and he is in a different class all the time along with his belongings so we have to search for those and don't bother asking the teachers cause they never seem to know where my child or his belongings are. The staff has become incredibly rude!! They appear to be constantly unorganized both in the class rooms as well as the front desk. I would not recommend this to any one.

My children have been to several other child care centers and I have loved this one the best. They have been attending since opening the center. The staff is friendly and helpful. I feel my children are learning. My son is in the private kindergarten with amazing results just halfway through the year. I would and have recommended this center to many other friends.

My son had started this school since it opened until now is almost 2 years and I really don't like the education system as well as the organization of this school, this school is like a chaos, they hire all young girls to be teachers and these young teachers don't have much experiences as well as patient in children, I never see any school that have teachers come and go like this school. My son has so many different teachers in a year, and I have to sign reports at least 2 or 3 times a week for either the other kids hit him or he felt off and get hurt,especially in this school they don't like your feedback, when you complain something they blame it back on your kids. My son is very unhappy about this school for so long, they also feed the kids very cheap and poor food too, snack is only a few dry cereal or salty crackers. I think now is time to find him another school, the reason I wait for so long because I am a single mom I have to work long hour every day, this school allows me to pick up my son from the time they open until they close without charge any extras. But I am very sad to see my son there, sometimes het get hit really hard on his nose cause bleeding... I really don't recomend to anyone this school unless you don't beleive and want to try
