I have to start out by saying that I appreciate Tasheba being willing to make an appointment for me. However, as a first time customer, I walked out, and this is why the rating I wrote above was so low. I arrived 20 minutes prior to my appointment and honestly didn't expect to be seen or have my hair started prior to my exact appointment time. However, I sat very patiently and waited for over 40 minutes once my official appointment time started. That's right ladies, 40 minutes! After 40 minutes, I made the decision to walk out. During that 40 minutes, she didn't offer me any apologies, any water, any "I'll be with you soon,"....nothing. She was styling the hair of 2 other women during my appointment time and didn't convey a single word to me about anything. I felt unimportant and neglected, honestly.



And while I do understand things can get busy, I realized that my time and money are better spent elsewhere and at a place and on a stylist that values me as a customer. I've always believed that we teach people how to treat us, and by sitting there waiting for over 40 minutes with nothing being done, I was giving the message that it was okay for her to allow me to sit and wait with no explanations, no apologies, no nothing. This was not only unprofessional, but was completely unacceptable.



When I told Tasheba that I was leaving b/c I had been waiting for over 4 0minutes, she did apologize. But she then said, 'Well, if you have to go, that's okay." Her saying this clearly conveyed that she did not seem bothered by the fact that I said I was leaving.



All of this, in sum, let me know that my money, time, and business were not important to her. As someone new to the area who had heard great things about this place, I was looking for a new beauty shop to claim as my own (speaking as a customer).



My experience was a bad one, and it left a rather lasting unpleasant taste in my mouth.



I immediately called my old stylist in Bridgeport, and she gave me an immediate appointment for the following day. It'll take me an hour to get there, but b/c she is very professional and an excellent beautician, I will make the trip to have her care for my hair.



So, no thanks. I will NEVER return and will NEVER recommend this beauty shop to anyone.

I came to Renada The Hairologist with thin hair and she helped me get thicker fuller hair! She's very educated in what she's talking about and gives great tips on how to take care of your hair at home. She lets you know what's being put in your hair and uses amazing products such as my favorite, her raw Shea butter with rose oil, olive oil, and castor oil! I highly recommend! Loving my new healthy hair

The entire staff here at indigo are very nice and professional. Tasheba has been doing my sisterlocks with custom color for almost 3 years and I have no complaints. Great place to be for your all your hair care needs . So come on down and ask for Tasheba, EmmaILuvHair, or Renada either one of these ladies will hook you up!!

I enjoy going to Indigo Hair Innovations for my hair care needs! Tasheba is a really great and friendly stylist who is very professional. I'm glad I have found a stylist who can care for and style my natural hair. Her creative styles are highly recommend for who are looking for classy or daring styles!!!

If you need a new look just check out indigo salon that's the place to be I will not go any where else the people there are very nice and will work with you

I love the environment. it's very relaxing . The stylists are very professional and knowledgable about hair and the products they used. I decided to get a sewn-in weave. I was so happy my stylist washed and treated my hair prior to installing my weave. My weave looks amazing, absolutely FLAWLESS! Ladies this is CT's top salon go check them out!

This is such a wonderful Hair Salon! The Owner is extremely talented, professional and friendly. I just got my hair done and it looks fabulous!!! I can't believe how real my weave looks! I definitely recommend this hair salon to my best friend and others.
