In regards to the previous quote on this wall, I have been doing business with Debartolo Realty and I was once a real estate agent so I know how the business goes. What many people don't realize is foreclosed properties go on and off the market so fast and many times the agent only makes a few hundred bucks on the property. If you are a serious investor, especially when purchasing bank owned homes you have to outwork others. Ive purchased 3 properties from Nick Debartolo and he has helped me place hundreds of offers on properties. My suggestion is that if you want your agent to do all the work for you, then you are going to get beat to the punch by people that are doing it full time or want it more Let me say this: I bought a condo a half mile away from the beach in Grand Haven for 36,000 and it's renting for 650 a month during the winter and $425 buck a WEEK in the summer. My mortgage is 317 dollars a month. Do you really think that these kind of properties stay on the market long or an agent is going to sell you a property like this, when he or she has an investor that is purchasing hundreds of properties. Unfortunately when I was a real estate agent, I spent alot of time helping people that never bought and it only cost me more money. An broker's split is only 3% and you have to factor in the agen may only get 1.5%-2% of that. If you want someone that will wait on you hand and feet because they do not have the experience, then you can get that from an inexperienced real estate agent. If you want the best, you have to realize why does the best want you to be their customer when they have a laundry list.

I have been more than pleased with my experience with Debartolo Realty. I started investing in rental properties in the Grand Rapids area a few years ago and was very lucky to team up with Linda as my agent. Their team is always more than happy to work very hard to find you the perfect house. I would trust them over any other broker in the area due to their amazing experience with foreclosures and the market in GR. As far as the other complaints go, those people must be very inexperienced with the housing market here in GR. It is very competitive and can be frustrating when houses are selling fast. Out of all my experiences working with Debartolo realty I have never felt like they were giving me anything less than 100%
A very reliable company. The staff has a personal connection with the tenants and despite past grievances with other leasing companies, CPM was more than willing to work with our situation in a timely efficient manner. Would definitely recommend to anyone else.
