My story For as long as I can remember, I have had back issues but nothing could prepare me for what was to come. Back in October of 2014, I was ready to get back to work so I took a job as a housekeeper at a hotel until I found an office job. It is a very physically demanding job but I thought “hey, I’ll be OK”…boy was I wrong…on so many levels. Every day that I went in, my back got worse until one day, I literally could not stand, let alone walk. When my back would go out previously, I would be down for the count for a couple of days but then would be back to “normal”. This time though, it just kept getting worse and worse. I could not sit or stand without excruciating pain, I could not do either without help from my husband, and even my 5 year old son was helping me. When I was finally able to get to the standing position, I was not able to stand straight and was leaning to the left at a 90 degree angle. Enter the walker: Yup, I was so bad that I had to use a walker just to get to the bathroom! I worked for a Chiropractor about 6 years ago and while working there I got free adjustments. He took an X-ray of my back and in his quirky humor he told me “your tires are half bald”. Great I thought. He only did manual adjustments and when he went to adjust my neck I tensed up thus creating my neck issues, immediate consumption of in-effective Tylenol and a complete fear of Chiropractic Services. After a few weeks of excruciating pain, my husband Bret finally called Susan Roberts (with my kicking and screaming the whole way) and she got me in immediately to i-Chiro so that the Doctors there could work their magic! It was not immediate relief but every day that I went in I felt a little better. Not only was I getting relief in my back but I was migraine free from an everyday migraine for the first time in about 6 years. I do still get headaches but I am Tylenol free and rely on my chiropractic services to relieve any tension that I am having. Going to see the Doctors and staff at i-Chiro is truly the highlight of my day because I know that I will feel much better walking out of there. While I am still not where I should be, I feel human again and will continually seek out chiropractic care from i-Chiro so that my issues do not deteriorate. I am not willing to settle for disability as I know that I have a lot of life left in me and want to live it! I cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff at i-Chiro and I will be forever grateful to them. Without them I know that I would not have healed to the point that I am at now and would probably have had to go on disability. Thank you i-Chiro staff! Sincerely, Ann Roberts
Ok I hope this review turns out to be something practical. I am only speaking of the "pre-tattoo" experience. But from what I gather preparation is everything. I have over 5 tattoos all of which were mostly spur of the moment ideas. Something different happened when I visited Mos Eisleys... The receptionist was very professional and prompt. She told me to look through all of the artists portfolios FIRST and then choose an artist not based on name or reputation, but rather which artists' work most matched my desire for the tattoo I wanted to get. Really cool! Then as I sat and looked through the collection of art, I witnessed how detailed and attentive Mos Eisleys staff were. They are a busy place! I wanted a tatt right away as usual, I came in with cash and they said that it would be better to get references (pictures) of what I wanted and consult with the artist first. I could hardly believe it, I was actually stunned to be rejected at first, but realized good ORIGINAL artwork takes time. So with that said I have an appointment to see the drawing 2 weeks from now. This is not a "fly by night" orginization but rather a well prepared and well situated buisness of working professionals who will keep saftey and respect to the craft as top priority. I honestly can already say that I know this is going to be a good experience without having even been touched by a needle as of yet.
Today I walked into this lovely shop with my two sisters to get matching moon tattoos to remind us of the magical weekend we had in Michigan. We only had a few hours for all of us to get some ink before I had to board a plane to head back home in the west. We had called other local shops where we were turned down immediately saying that it could not be done with such short time to sketch out our ideas and work. We then were so fortunate to be helped by Hunter and Matt at Sovereign who quickly started to sketch out our ideas and tattoo all three of us in an hour and a half. All of our moons turned out perfect along with the best service and kindness I have ever received in a tattoo parlor. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is looking to be treated right and efficiently. Makes me sad to go back to my home state! Thanks Sovereign Arms Tattoo Co.!
