With over 19 years of experience as a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner Dr. Jennifer Hill, DNP joined Iowa Sleep in 2019. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Iowa along with her Family Nurse Practitioner through Graceland University. She has been fortunate enough to work in many different areas including: Pediatrics, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Obesity Management, Urgent Care, Rural Health Family Practice Clinics, College Health, ENT, Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder patients, Spanish-speaking only patients and academia through DMACC and Graceland University.
Primary Care
If you have a sleep study, the data collected during your overnight stay will be analyzed by a sleep specialist. Based on the results, treatment options and recommendations will be given to you, as well as your primary care provider. A follow-up appointment is scheduled to discuss the results and evaluate any treatment.

Carol Smith joined Iowa Sleep in July 2015 with over 20 years experience as a Physician Assistant. She received her physician assistant training through Des Moines University. Since becoming a PA, Carol has specialized in Family Practice/Urgent Care, Gastroenterology and Women's Health. Prior to becoming a PA, Carol worked as a critical care RN in ICU/CCU, Post Anesthesia Recovery, Dialysis and the Cardiac Cath Lab. Carol completed her nurse's training at Santa Rosa Junior College in California.

Jessica joins Iowa Sleep with 20 years of nursing experience and 5 years of experience as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Jessica received her Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) from South University where she graduated with honors, and has extensive experience in Trauma/Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. Jessica maintains her board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Dr. Steven Zorn is the founder of Iowa Sleep and is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine, as well as Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine. A graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Zorn completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. As a Pulmonary Fellow at Yale University Medical School, he received a NIH research fellowship award.
