When choosing who to do business with, we should choose businesses who hire people of good character. I strongly believe in the character of those employed at Sewell of Plano. My vehicle stalled and died on my way to work and people were driving by for over ten minutes. Finally one gentleman stopped and attempted to jump my car. The jump would not take and the battery cables started smoking. That man had to get to work and there was nothing he could do for me, so he left. I don't know anyone at all in or near the area I broke down, so had nobody to call for help. As a single mom working in a daycare center where our hours have been drastically cut, I don't have money for AAA or anything. I was stranded in the middle lane just past an intersection with noplace to push the car off the roadway if I could have managed this by myself. The first gentleman had been gone about five to ten minutes and people just kept on driving by. I was still unable to find anyone to come help me and was in tears. Along came Chad from Sewell of Plano asking if I needed help. Boy, did I!! Shortly after he stopped, along came two other people from Sewell of Plano...Jon and Clint. These three were sent from God. They spent a good 45 minutes of their morning helping me. They pushed my car into the turn lane, tried to jump the car with a jump box...only to achieve sparks, Chad went back to the shop and brought a truck and tow strap and these guys pulled my car into a parking lot to get it off the street and then gave me a ride to work. Saying "thank you" seemed so insufficient for all they did to help me that morning. I am so grateful for their help and willingness to stop and help in such a huge way and ask nothing in return...even in the heat we have been experiencing. They are truly good people with amazing heart and character. Take your business to Sewell of Plano...they have earned it!!

I am writing to let you know what a good experience I had a few weeks ago. My husband and I stopped by the dealership just to look around. My daughter had a 2007 RDX, and it was about time for a trade. We visited with Joel Andalzua briefly as we were actually in town with family for an event. Joel later contacted me by phone, and I let him know we were still not quite ready to make a decision. After visiting with my daughter, we decided it was time for a trade. Since she lives in Austin, we started shopping there. After visiting with the 2 Acura dealers in Austin, we were very disappointed to find out that the specific vehicle she was looking for was not available. We were told we would have to order, and it would be in around July or August. I then called several other dealerships (Houston, Dallas and Plano) as well as Joel to see what they were able to locate. Joel was the only one that was able to locate the vehicle we were looking for! Within a few days, Joel had the vehicle at Goodson, and we were able to make the trade. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and not once did I feel any type of high pressure sales. I let him know that I have had unpleasant experiences when purchasing vehicles in the past, so I definitely appreciate a sales person that is pleasant and easy to deal with.
My husband and I purchased a 2007 Toyota Tundra from Orr Toyota last weekend and it was a pleasant experience. I test drove an Acura TL and TSX on Saturday with Brad. We talked on the phone Monday, I made an offer and she got very close to it. So I leased the red silver that was on the floor on Monday night. Brad was absolutely wonderful. He picked me up this morning, so I could get my Volvo that I will either turn in or may have found a wholesaler who will buy it from me for about 3k more than I could have gotten on a trade. He was a client who only wants used Volvo's. Brad is great! It was a great a buying experience with him. Over the weekend I was checking out prices, when I saw the Kelly blue book thing which let you email 3 different dealers for quotes. I ended up coming back to Brad for his personality. He was great to work with, and went the extra mile, by driving me over to get my other car. He also laid out the numbers two different ways so I could see I was better not trading my Volvo and either turning it in and paying the mileage or trying to sell it myself.
Although I didn't purchase my vehicle from Mini of Plano it is my preferred dealership to have my vehicle serviced. The facility is awesome and the employees even better. I have used all three DFW Mini dealers for service on my 2010 Mini Cooper S and I can tell you there is no reason to even think about going anywhere except Mini of Plano. Mini of Plano's service advisors are top notch. They are very knowledgeable and truly go out of their way to help you when your vehicle needs service. My current service advisor is Melanie Carlyon. She has been a pleasure to deal with. Melanie always greets me by name as I pull up onto the service drive. If I am waiting for my vehicle, she keeps me updated on the status and how much longer of a wait I should expect. Employees like Melanie will be the reason that I purchase my next vehicle from a Sewell dealership.
I highly recommend Ken's Muffler & Brakes Automotive Service Shop (Bachman Lake location). They were friendly, professional and totally focused on ensuring we knew exactly what was wrong with our car, what they could do to fix it, and how much it was going to cost. They went above and beyond to care for our 15 year old car, and showed us the old parts that were severly damaged when we picked it up. They really went the extra mile to make us feel confident that we had choosen the right people for the job. And, their cost was LESS THAN HALF of what the dealership was going to charge us. I would absolutely go back to Ken's again, knowing that they are the real thing, and are going to be straight and honest with you. By far the best customer service experience I have ever had when dealing with a car that needs service.

I never met Bill in person, however I spoke with him on the phone once and he explained to me the process in place of keeping me informed on the progress and status of my car via email. I found that to be a very convenient program for the both of us. I didn't have to call him on the phone, be placed on hold, have him look up my account info, etc....He assured me that my car would be back ready 04/04/14 and it was. I'm one very happy Toyota Camry owner. It rides and drives like new! I love my Toyota Camry! I am very happy with the service and the car I got from Goodson Acura. I was visiting the dfw area from Little Rock, AR. I wasn’t originally looking for a new car but I happen to be driving through Irving and past this dealership when a few of their car caught my eye. So needless to say I had to stop in and check out their deals and obviously they gave me one that I just could turn down. I’m now the proud owner of a beautiful Acura TL.
