My wife and I decided to try George's on a Saturday night to try the $13.99 prime rib special. We were expecting a scaled down version of the usual prime rib dinner, but no. What we got were beautiful thick, juicy, flavorful, large cuts of beef, along with potatoes, asparagus, sweet bell peppers, and choice of salad or soup. The place was packed, but we were able to get a table within 5 minutes, and it was around 6:30 pm. Our server was friendly and fast. Now I would write more about how great their desserts were, but we were so stuffed that we didn't order any. Maybe next time... and there definitely will be a next time.
This is the best I've in a long time. I would have to travel to Dearborn to get anything of this caliber. While the restaurant is a little lacking in atmosphere it makes up for it in the quality of the food. Anna and her daughter make you feel like one of the family. I had the fattoush on Sunday and I was back on Friday for another. I added one of their pita sandwiches yummy. They also offer catering and various size trays so I do not have to cook. This is food from the heart.
this restaurant would make my wife very happy. they have every thing we make at house. including Dolma, Tapsi, Round Kubba, Boreg, Potato Chop, etc..... with best quality. also, they could cater to a major events. I'm already working on Easter order for 120 people.
