Monarch Dental & Orthodontics

Me and my husband both went to Monarch Dental to get our teeth cleaned since that was the only one on my insurance policy in the Weatherford area. My husband was able to get his teeth cleaned with no issues, he has perfect teeth. Me on the other hand do not have perfect teeth, but I have no cavities and never no issues with getting them cleaned. So after I went and had all the xrays they required that I get, I was told that I could not get a basic cleaning, that I needed a deep cleaning and it would cost me $800 after the insurance pays there part. So I walked out paying my co payment and only getting xrays done and no cleaning. I will not ever go back and I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone.

Paid $3500 for lumineers,not even six months later one of them has fallen off and of course they are not going to replace it or lower any of the in office fees for another. SMH, 3500 Dollars for nothing!

The ladies up front are nice enough but I just spent 75+ minutes waiting to be seen for an appointment I had. I eventually walked out having never seen the dentist. It would be one thing if it was an emergency and i was waiting for an opening but this was a scheduled appointment. Do yourself a favor and find another place in Weatherford.

I gave Monarch Dental (Weatherford, Tx) 1 star because of the dentist, Dr. Whittle. July 11, 2013: He moved my appointment up with barely any notice...on the day of my appointment. He was very rude. He rushed not only me, but his staff as well. I guess it truly was highly important that he be out of there by 4:00?? He barely looked at me or spoke to me. He briefly glanced at my xrays (which where taken on the mini machine because the big one has been broken for a while) and immediately said in a quick and annoyed voice, "it's hard to see ANYTHING with braces". He proceeded to "examine" my mouth for all of 30 seconds, quickly said I had no cavities, still didn't even make eye contact, and then rushed out. Its a good thing I didn't have to pay because I would have REFUSED! By the way, its three weeks later and my tooth is hurting on the lower left side. I'll have to wait until we get back from vacation now to find a new dentist to take care of this for me. What a shame that the "dentist" is so lousy. I could not be more pleased with the current staff.

My wife scheduled a teeth cleaning and they rescheduled with her 4 times and the 4rth time they said they still weren't sure if the doctor would be in. This is horrible service to keep scheduling patients if the doctor is not in!!!!! Not recommend this place!

This is the worst place ever for a dentist, he needs to be let go. He's young, irresponsible, has no tact and trys to hurt you when you decide that you can't afford to pay thousands of dollars for a root canal. Go somewhere else to avoid the pain. He needs to be retrained. Worst dentist I've ever experienced.

My husband went to this dentist and was told he would need deep cleaning with additional shots that the insurance company would not cover. Each shot would cost $35 per tooth and the bill would be over $2000.00 TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS! We firmly believe in the principle of 3. 3 estimates, 3 bids, 3 opinions. So, we went to another dentist in Arlington, then another one in Whitney. BOTH dentists said he just needed regular cleanings. Total cost $220. When we told a friend about his experience with Monarch Dental, she was outraged because she had just been told the EXACT same thing from a Monarch dentist in Conroe, Tx. Her bill was going to be over $4000. We referred her to the dentist in Whitney....Guess what? She didn't need anything done to her teeth. They were in good condition. Not only was this company going to rip her off dollar wise, just think of all the pain and suffering on top of the monetary rip off!!! So, if you are thinking about using Monarch Dental.....BEWARE. Get a second, third opinion. Do Not Trust Monarch Dental.
