No, Red Lobster is not an upscale seafood place, but for the price the food is quite good. Gotta love the cheddar biscuits, salads are good, not always great, and the desserts are decent. My favorite is the coconut shrimp - I've tried coconut shrimp in many different places, including fancier restaurants, and while they're all somewhat greasy, Red Lobster seems the best. The fried shrimp is also a good bargain - they don't overdo the breading like so many places.
Went there for the first time with the bros, loved the atmosphere, arcade, and the military colors made me feel appreciated as a Navy man myself. Not to mention the food was DELICIOUS. Customization of your meal was on point. Can't wait to go again.
