Monterey Bay Caterers was founded by Pajaro Dunes Rental agency in 1982. Under the management of Ken Schwan, his goal was to serve the Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties' catering needs. In fulfilling Ken's dream of being the Chef / Owner, he brings with him experience in providing quality food and service. In fact the catering crew has gotten married 30 plus times a year for the past 20 years.
Monterey Bay Caterers has 3 types of business: a full service deli, corporate catering and social catering. They have a full time staff of 10 and a part-time staff of more than 30. They have experienced, trained staff that provide quality food and service. It shows they enjoy their work.
They are experienced in every type of wedding from small intimate gatherings at your home to large elaborate multi-day celebrations.

The best way to proceed is to contact Ken to discuss date availability, location, style of event, menu selections, etc. Then set up a site meeting, this meeting will generally take about 1 hour. You should bring the people that matter most to you and who can help you make decisions on your special event. We will discuss your time line, ceremony, beverages, and more.
