- The Breakie Bunch mission is to provide our families with a safe, clean, loving and educational childcare setting to feel at home. We want our center to be a home away from home where your children feel comfortable to learn and grow in their own way. Our goal for each child is that they go to kindergarten not only prepared for the academic portion but also have the social skills to get along with their classmates, the independence to succeed in a class of 30 and the compassion to help the other children who were not as well prepared. Communication among staff, parents, and community is a necessary component to achieving a high quality program. We ask that parents choose to be an active participate in their childs program. Please take a few minutes each morning and evening to exchange important information with your childs caregiver. With an active relationship between parents and staff, we believe the possibilities are endless.

- Our programs are play based emphasizing an appropriate balance between child directed and teacher directed activities. Our curriculum focuses on the following developmental areas; cognitive skills, social, emotional, physical, creative, and language and literacy skills. It is our goal to support children in achieving goals appropriate for their age and development. Children as young as toddlers will participate in large and small group activities as a part of the daily routine. Our staff is committed to planning and implementing a curriculum that is purposeful, goal oriented, and most of all fun.

I highly recommend the infant classroom, older toddler classroom and preschool room teachers are amazing and loving!
We just finished week 2 at the brand new Goodrich location and we are feeling right at home! We were a little nervous about our 5 year old transitioning into a new place. She has been excited to wake up and go each day! The team at the Breakie Bunch definitely cares and helps fuel creativity, learning and fun! We are impressed and glad to be a part of the new location.
We moved to the area when I was 8 months pregnant and needed somewhere for our almost 4 year old daughter to attend while we worked. I checked out quite a few facilities and read online reviews before deciding on The Breakie Bunch. My first phone call and in person tour of the facility went smoothly, Laura Breakie immediately squashed any reservations I had with her warm and welcoming attitude. She is a mom, so she knows how difficult it is to trust your children with others. I love that they use the Tadpoles app, and they provide so much detail! I can check in on the app any time of the day to see how the kids are doing. All parents/guests must check their child in on a computer in the lobby using their fingerprint.....I love the security offered! They have a monthly calendar to show you what the upcoming themes will be, visits from the librarian, exotic animal exhibits, field trips. The teachers are all so caring, you can tell that they actually enjoy being around and teaching children. I can pay online, call with as many questions as I can think of and even grab a quick cup of coffee on my mad morning dash through the lobby. Greatest thing of all is that my daughters are learning new things every day that they attend The Breakie Bunch.
The Breakie Bunch does a wonderful job with my children. My 2 year old has been going there for 2 years now and he is excelling in all areas of development. They teach him so many things, things that I would have never even thought of. We are constantly complimented on how advanced he is and he continuously surprises me with his knowledge! All of the staff members are amazing and my son just adores them. I just started my baby in the infant room and I had no worries about returning to work after maternity leave because I knew I was leaving him in excellent care. Over the past 2 years, all of my concerns have been addressed immediately and I am informed of any issues immediately. I am sent pictures of both of my kids on an almost daily basis and they have an app that keeps me up to date with all meals, diaper/potty, sleep so that I can check in on them while I am at work. They teach sign language, Spanish, sensory, art, pretend play, manners, and so much more! I would, and do, recommend them to all of my friends and family!
Awesome center for my grandchild's development. The teachers are so dedicated and loving. The Director, Ms. Laura, runs an efficient, safe and happy center. I'm glad Breakie bunch Day care is in Waterford!!! D. Kirkland
The Breakie Bunch is a wonderful center to take your children. My daughter loves going everyday. They foster educational skills while incorporating a fun environment. The staff is wonderful and keeps you aprised at what is going on. This is the place to go if you are ever thinking about which daycare center to send them to.
The Child Care Gem of Waterford!
You truly couldn't ask for better care and education for your child. My daughter has been a part of The Breakie Bunch family for almost 4 years now and will be more than ready for Kindergarten this Fall!
The curriculum is the best I've seen and the teachers and staff are always kind and willing to go above and beyond for the children and their parents!
I have worked at the Breakie Bunch now for a few months and I truly love the name. It is like we are one big family! The staff is awesome I have made a bunch of wonderful friends and have learned wonders from these ladies!!! Everyday we teach sign language to the kids, it is truly amazing to see one year olds saying "more" and "please" in sign language!
We as a staff have a ton of fun each day with all the children playing games, singing songs, dancing, and doing art projects! It's been an awesome experience and I am very thankful to Laura for the opportunity! I feel i have grown as a mother and as a teacher!
Of course I would recommend bringing your children here because I love my job and all my kids!!!!

Provided by SuperpagesI would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for affordable, quality child care. The Breakie Bunch isn't just a "daycare" it is a learning center. The owner (Laura) and staff are all very involved and dedicated to each and every child. Our grandson started in the infant room and is currently in the toddler room. He knows sign language, loves music, uses manners, takes turns, knows his colors and much more. I can't imagine him anywhere else!
My grandson has been enrolled in this center since Nov. of 2012 when he was just 6 months old. Laura has done an amazing job with this center and I cannot imagine a better place for him to be. He has learned so much and created special bonds with each teacher. I love the daily sheet with all the details of his day, the art projects and the special attention he gets especially when he needs it most.
Truly like a home away from home for my son, he loves going to The Breakie Bunch! I have peace of mind knowing he's well cared for.
Great Place!! I have never been so comfortable leaving my little ones anywhere outside of family as I have here. They are wonderful and loving people. My little ones are learning Sign and Spanish and loving the interaction with the other children. You will not be disappointed here!!! The staff is Terrific and Laura is wonderful at accommodating
your needs and your child's needs!
I have been working at The Breakie Bunch for two years. It is an amazing place to work at. My daughter is in the school age program. This year she started kindergarten . The Breakie Bunch teacher's did an amazing job preparing her for kindergarten. This is a great place to bring your child or grand child. You will not be disappointed that you. The staff is very loving.

Provided by SuperpagesThis is a great place to send your child. I have been working at the breakie bunch for almost two years. I sent my daughter who is now in kindergarten here. She got a wonderful education. The teachers are very loving. Come in for a tour you won't be disappointed.
Stepping Stone is a great learning environment.
They incorporate play to teach children, so kids have a lot of fun while gaining vital learning experience necessary for their age. Their curriculum also includes sign language and spanish which is a plus! Hours of operation and location is convenient. They offer healthy meals which is already included with the tuition. Pricing is reasonable considering the quality of care they provide. My daughter loves her teachers. They provide excellent care to each child. This is why I am confident that when I am at work, I know my child is safe , well taken care of and most of all having fun!
My daughter has been going there since she was an infant and is now 5 years old, overall I have been very happy with Stepping Stone and my daughter has loved the teachers she has had. I highly recommend them!

My children have been going to Stepping Stone for the past two years. I absolutely love it! The center is smaller than other nearby centers, but it works to their advantage. The center is educational while still remaining it's home-like setting. The staff have more one-on-one time with my children, and my son knows more than other children in the family his age. I feel much better being a working mom knowing I'm leaving my children with caregivers who are like family. I highly recommend this center!
