This company sucks. They are rude, disrespectful and do not honor the warranties. I never got any carpets cleaned and they basically stole 5 vacuums and an Electolux Carpet Shampooer that was brand new and never used. Do not deal with these idiots. I just hung up with them again, and he was rude and obnoxious.Like this review?Yes|Flag Abuse

We've had 2 Kirbys in 40 years. The 1st one we bought when we got married 40 years ago. Never had to do anything but every few years replace the belt. The Waterbury Service center gave us belts for free also polished it! We just bought our second one a Sentria 2. The sale rep was polite and cleaned 2 carpets for free. Our carpets look great! Most of the Kirby employees don't last a year with the company. When they hire at first they won't even tell you what you are selling because they know you won't bother coming in for the interview. Type in Kirby Vacuum complaints and you will see all the customers and former employees that have problems with the local distributor, who most of the time won't even use Kirby in their companies name. Don't spend $1000, $1500, $2000.00. I found mine on craiglist for under $400.00.
If you try to buy one they will ask $1500 to $2000 or more, spend hours in your house, and put the pressure on you for what you are told is a free carpet cleaning. If you notice the sales outlets are not called Kirby stores because of the bad reputation of their door to door sales process. Payment plans they offer almost double the price of the vacuum after they figure in a super high interest rate. I am selling my a... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag Abuse
