The US Capitol is impressive and worth the trip to visit. Many people work here and the turnover rate for workers has been high. Some people come here to work for only two years and some for six. (I myself would prefer one of the six year positions). The US Capitol is not hard to find, just follow the National mall to the eastern end and look up. If you are looking for a job here, you may have to apply within your own state and there is considerable competition. I would prefer to visit the US Capitol as an observer. My heart is too weak for politics. I do however enjoy the Capitol for the history it provides, and history is produced here on a never ending schedule. STEVEN ROBERT HEINE.

When you visit Washington DC do NOT miss a visit to the Washington National Cathedral! You will have ALREADY seen this majestic building from Northern Virginia or from the Potomic in DC. The National Cathedral is an incredible building, a historic site and a place for ALL Christians! FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE! A service at the Cathedral is an unforgettable event. See the Cathedral website for service times. Tours outside of service times are also available almost daily. The National Cathedral is a site NOT to be missed no matter WHAT your views. It is a place to take a family and enjoy the great history. A place where US Presidents have knelt before God for generations!
Nothing here is outstanding, but pretty much everything is serviceable, and there's lots of it. Italian food, served family style. The pastas are usually very good. Stick with the cheap chianti. My favorite is the gorgonzola-walnut-apple salad. Do try the mozzarella-encrusted garlic bread. All servings are large -- a small will serve 2, a large will serve 4. At first glance, the prices may seem high, but when you realize that the 2 of you only need one appetizer and one entree, it's a bargain. Popular stop for high school tour buses -- they've got tables that can seat 20 or more.
