I used to drive, but not in the US and was afraid of big streets and big cars. I've tried pretty much every driving school in DC before finally finding Peter. And let me tell you - he will teach you how to be a safe and responsible driver! I took 4 or 5 lessons before taking the exam. And I passed without a glitch!



Peter is extremely patient, punctual, great observer of your driving skills and he'll explain to you everything what you need to do to be a safe driver and, most importantly he'll explain THE WHY, which was very important to me! All you need to do is listen to him and trust him! He is really, truly great.



Anyway, thanks to Peter I have my driver's license and few days ago I bought my new car. Thank you, Peter!

I've never met anyone as calm as Peter. There'd be times where I'd freak out over ANYTHING concerning driving and he'd calmly calm ME down. NEVER driven before my classes with this instructor and here i am with my license and a brand new car after a total of 16 nonconsecutive hrs. If you're considering any other school: DON'T!!! Rock Driving School is definitely the real deal!!!

I sent my seventeen years old boy to Rock Driving School to learn how to drive. He started with 10 hours driving lessons and after that the instructor said that my son would need to practice more with me to acquire more driving experience before his driving test. I was referred to this school by a friend of mine that took some driving lessons with the owner last year. I read some reviews from different search engines about the school even though my friend told me that he’s good. The reason I read the reviews is because for the past 5 years I’ve tried to learn how to drive but the fear of the traffic discourages me so I would terminate it. I needed someone with patience and I found him just like my friend said. He always say relax, relax more, you’ll be OK, beautiful, those words encouraged me and I started changing lanes without panicking. I cannot say enough great things about Peter, the owner of Rock Driving School. As an older driver (and after enough learner's permits to amuse the DMV), I decided to take the plunge and get an actual license. Peter was professional, patient, and had enough humor to calm my periodic fears of DC rush hour traffic. I highly recommend Rock Driving School for potential drivers of any age - Peter is simply that good.

Rock Drving is the best driving school I've ever used. The instruction was clear and articulate from the instructors and they made it easy to understand that driving in isnt hard at all. They also made me see that it's possible to have fun and be safe at the same time while behind the wheel. It is a wonderful driving school with an excellent tutor (Peter). At the end of your lessons, you are left with a new found confidence that you did not start off with. I began with little to none knowledge of driving and after 3 weeks of lessons, I became an excellent driver who passed his driving test with a 96%. This driving school is highly recommended and I rate it a 10 out of 10!

Rock Driving School is the 2nd school that I went to (the first one was a bad experience). I had 3 instructors in my former driving school, so Peter from Rock is my 4th one overall and THE BEST by far. As a teacher, he is interested in your learning, follows your progress closely, spots and works on your weaknesses, gives you tips on safe driving, and is generous with praise in order to build your confidence as a driver. Besides, he doesn’t use his cellphone or run errands during the lessons, does not “cheat” on time, and is never late (all of this happened in my previous school). To add to those qualities, he is a nice guy: I was late by 10 minutes once and he graciously ended the lesson 10 minutes after the hour, giving me my full 2-hour session. Finally, his rates are extremely reasonable for the area. To sum up, Rock Driving School is an EXCELLENT DRIVING SCHOOL and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT to anyone who needs driving classes in DC.

I encountered Peter through the Yellow Pages while looking for a Driving School. As an older student, I had lots of questions and plenty of fear of the other cars! Peter was great, very patient, clear in his directions, and taught me a lot about safe driving. That has come very handy while driving in DC.
