Please avoid this dentist at all costs.
I felt prepared after reading reviews that said Dr. Landy pushes particular products. At one point he told me that my gums were puffy and that because they use an electric scaler he would apply a cream to make it more comfortable for "a small fee" - $50. I said no, thanks. After that process, he said that they would use a flouride treatment to prevent decay. Because he didn't mention a fee I (foolishly) didn't ask. I was charged $39 for the flouride when I left. This was outrageous to me, but it seems to be his normal way of doing business.
Most importantly, I didn't get a thorough cleaning. The hygenist spent no more than 5 minutes polishing my teeth, then the dentist used the scaler for less than 2 minutes.
Overall this is a bad dentist and dental office. I arrived 15 minutes early for a 9 am appointment to fill out paperwork, but at 9:05 a woman who had arrived after me was called back first. The hygenist said the receptionist didn't have "my stuff set up yet." I waited another 35 minutes to be seen. While I waited, I listened as the woman who apparently handles the dentist's accounts argued loudly over the phone with a patient about the details of her bill. When the call ended, the accountant said "I need a drink." It's a tiny waiting room, and everyone could hear. Finally, after the hygenist's brief visit with me, I waited another 15-20 minutes for the doctor to come in. While I waited I listened to him in another exam room trying repeatedly to sell Invisalign to another patient.
