I used this cab company to go from SE DC to downtown at 5:30am. Arranged it the day before. DIspatcher was professional and repeated my address/phone back to me to ensure accuracy. Got an automated phone call 20 min. before cab arrived. Arrival was on time, even a little early. Cabbie was friendly and professional. I would definitely use Yellow Cab again.
DO NOT CALL THIS CAB COMPANY! <br> <br>THEY ALWAYS PICK YOU UP LATE. <br> <br>THE PERSON TAKING THE RESERVATIONS DOES NOT GIVE THE CORRECT ADDRESS TO THE DISPATCHER. <br> <br>THE PERSON TAKING THE RESERVATIONS TAKES AT LEAST 15-20 MINUTES TO ANSWER THE TELEPHONE. THAT IS VERY POOR SERVICE!
DC has second worst traffic in the country and stuff happens when you travel. I've used this company for few years, mostly for rides to airports, mostly early morning. Their drivers know the city and they have never been late. May be I'm lucky, I live in DC, north east, there is no heavy traffic in my area in the morning. I've never have problems with this company and no doubt they deserve at least one good review.
I called Friday afternoon, February 18th, to secure a cab for a Saturday early morning trip to the airport. On Saturday morning, when the taxi failed to arrive, I called again. And despite repeated assurances that the driver was on the way and/or near my house, he or she never arrived and I missed my flight. <br> <br>I actually missed the entire trip and have incurred $75 in change fees from the airline. <br> <br>I expected a much higher level of service from the company, and I am quite disappointed. If they had simply told me that they would be unable to deliver me to the airport or that they needed more than a day's notice, I would have made other plans. Instead, I have lost a trip that cannot be repeated and time that cannot be regained.
