Absolutely horrendous! I am praying that things have changed over the past 10 years at The House of Hope. And praying the people who run it has changed. My experiences with them back in 2004 and 2005 were nothing less than horrible and traumatic. Like the woman who posted before me...I too am and was a perfectly normal, stable and decent human being who was dealing with an extremely tough and painful time. These people who claimed they wanted to help ended up traumatizing me even more. I agree one hundred percent with what Eliza2008 wrote and beyond that...They slandered my name, lied about me, threw me out in the middle of winter with 10 minutes notice to get all of my things and get out with no where to go. There is much more but it isn't worth writing it all now. But it was all because I too was not willing to be "owned" and I stood up for myself. Like I said..it has been many years and I sincerely hope things and people have changed there. Just be careful. Thank the Lord my life is a million times better now and he got me through those times. I never would have gotten through without him. Be careful of wolves in sheeps' clothing. Blessings
