This is an unfortunate review. I went into this Lowe's to purchase a washing machine for my father. Believe it or not, another customer was very helpful and he found us Sandy and Joe who were great at answering questions. Now comes the unfortunate part. We had the machine picked out to purchase, but Sandy pointed us to the desk so that one of three people could help us with the purchase. At this point, I'm assuming they work on commission for the big appliances? All three were assisting other customers so I waited politely at the desk. Pat was the first one free. He refused to make eye contact with me even though he'd been on the phone the whole time in front of me. He turns to the other woman sitting there and asks, "Have you been helped yet?" She was being helped by one of the other gentlemen. He still refused to make eye contact with me and then he walked away. The other lady was dressed very nicely and without a hair out of place. I coach volleyball and was in my volleyball tshirt. I looked at the other woman and said, "Did you notice that he didn't ask if he could help me? Is it because of the way I'm dressed?" Perhaps he didn't think I was serious about a purchase. And for Pat's information, I'm an orthodontist, just one that likes to wear tshirts. Even if I wasn't, no customer deserves to be treated like that. Best Buy would like to thank you because that's where we went afterwards to purchase the washing machine.

Don't buy Pergo! I did and had it installed by Lowes (their ""factory authorized subcontractor"") in my hallway, kitchen and powder room. From day one, I had issues with transition strips and moldings coming loose -all were replaced numerous times at additional cost to me for material. This one has a 35 year warranty but in just 5 years the flooring has warped, corners are cracking, sections od laminate are peeling, and the boards are loosing color - every joint of this floor moves when you walk on it. If you are barefoot your feet will be pinched by the loose planks. Now the floor is separating at the joints and the color is wearing off at the seams and corners.Pergo won't honor their warranty because I have a slab foundation. But this is the product that Lowes recommended and it is endorsed by Pergo for installation over concrete! I am stuck with pieces of junk instead of the beautiful floor that Pergo & Lowes promised. See Pergo's website and the great dane running across the flooring -it is a pack of lies. This floor won't hold up so save your money. I'm out over $4400 and the floor looks terrible! It will never be functional.
