        West-Central Independent Living Solutions (WILS) is a nonprofit agency that works to empower those with disabilities to achieve and maintain their independence. If you have a disability, this means that if there is anything that you need to stay in your home and avoid moving into a nursing home or residential care facility, WILS will work with you to meet your needs. We offer several programs to help you fulfill your goals, including: Our Four Core Services, provided to anyone with a disability: Advocacy Information and Referral Independent Living Skills Training Peer Support Additional Services, some which may have income requirements: WILS Ramp Program: We provide the materials and labor for a wheelchair accessible ramp or other home modification Consumer Directed Services: Consumers can hire a personal care attendant of their choice to assist with bathing, cooking, cleaning, and other areas of need. Does not include or interfere with skilled nurse care. Assistive Technology: (AT) is equipment used by people with disabilities to perform tasks/functions that would be difficult or impossible without it. AT includes shower chairs, magnifiers, wheelchairs, and grab bars. WILS has a variety of assistive technology for gift, loan, or purchase. Transportation Services: WILS provides transportation for a reasonable fee. We have two wheelchair lift vans for those in wheelchairs. Transition Services: WILS provides information, referral and aid in transitioning out of a nursing home or residential care facility. WILS is serving six counties including Benton, Henry, Johnson, Pettis, and Saline, MO. Call us today!
