Northwest Bank

Go to any other bank if you are looking for a home loan. The Warren office has way too many people involved in the process and they caused our closing to be much later than we needed. We were bounced around from person to person and they never knew what the previous people had done. Each time we were shifted to the next person it was like starting all over again. They should have left the loans to the individual branches. The people at the Bradford branch were wonderful which is why I chose them but sadly, everything is handled at the overcrowded and confused Warren branch. They couldn't have done worse if they tried. They knew from the beginning that we were on a strict but easily doable time frame but they dragged their heels every step of the way. Their communication practices are abysmal. When they finally do respond, they push out an email at the very end of the day which causes further delay and frustration. I strongly recommend that you find any other bank if you are buying a house. These people mishandled everything as soon as the Warren branch got involved. They turned our home purchase into a nightmare. My credit is excellent and we put down much more than the typical 20 percent. I shudder to think how they would treat someone with just decent credit and a standard down payment. Steer clear of this bank for loans. I wish I had because they caused us to miss our deadline due to their incompetence.

I am very disappointed with this business. After paying off my car loan a year early, it took them over two months to send me the title. This was after two long distance phone calls asking where the title was. Then after two months, I get a letter stating that I would have to go to our local BMV and pay a fee to get this title. So I paid for the title twice. Once when I bought the car and again to get the title. I will never use this bank again as a lender.
