Class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

They are not only rotten with children but equally bad with adults under their care. I hope someone cares enough to get a class action lawsuit started to get these people to make proper amends and sort out their act.

This facility claims of family-based "treatment", but that's far from our family's experience. My granddaughter's been here since June 2012 - and she committed no crime, wasn't sent by judge or court order.

I've spent hours and hours at the group home visiting our grandchild, because we're not used to being apart and we miss each other alot.We have observed alot of things we did not expect in the least.

This facility is charged, under law, with the responsibility of protecting the safety and well-being of these children. What I have seen and experienced is diametrically opposed to that.

Removal of emotional support, not giving child mail of encouragement and even many Christmas cards, and not even able to see her on Christmas day.

What I've seen, experienced and learned, defies logic and reasonable, moral behavior and treatment to defenseless, already-"troubled" kids. This is hard to describe, because it's hard to imagine....but it is what it is. It's true.

This is actually discipline-based treatment., with various levels of punishment and restriction, both physically and emotionally. Kids must ask to move from one room in the house to the other.

Strong focus on drugs (google: psychotropic drug effects & side effects).

Other than that, my grandchild remains on "Original Level" for much of the time - an arm's length from staff at all times, no music, no television, no computer time

and commented that treatment involves triggering those symptoms.

Overwhelming the children again & again is considered good and necessary, as staff explained, to prepare child for hard life in real world.

I don't know what all the PA State standards are, or who inspects the School and Group Homes to re-issue compliance certificates, but something is not right.

Maintenance staff said they do a big group home cleaning monthly, but clearly, maintenance is lacking at this facility.

At 23 Williams Street Group Home, my daughter shared room with pregnant African-American child. I've seen: Expired Fire Extinguishers, Broken out storm windows that still had broken glass inside the frame edge, with some long glass shards and chips resting on windowsills (at bedroom and adjoining bathroom window), Plastic containers on floors to catch rain water, Water stains on walls from many,long-time leaks, Black water dripping into 5-gal buckets when a/c system was added in late August 2012, Shear curtains w/no window shades - even bedroom or bathroom windows, Bed covers literally worn with holes like swiss cheese. Broken fixture/toilet seat, unlocked front door, broken yard gate latch...

We've continued trying to report serious threats of harm to occupant children, staff, still with no direct, professional response – no matter how urgent. Can't even get email addr from child's Therapist, to re-contact admin'r in charge of group homes, so info can go directly to position of authority.

Evidence suggests much to hide from. I realize this is a "non-profit", but it appears there is financial gain that is being protected, while deferring their responsibility to protect the safety and well-being of these children, as the law requires.

As far as I can see, these children need genuine help and safety. We're not alone. Wanna talk?

CLUE: How come there are few, if any, reviews on their FB page? Odd, eh? Reviews are erased quickly and regularly, from my experience. GOT INFO? WANT TO HELP?

An Olean man is jailed on char...

An Olean man is jailed on charges that he molested two teenage girls in exchange for cigarettes while he worked for Beacon Light Behavioural Health System in Bradford.

38-year-old Steven Mesiarik allegedly fondled the girls, who are 14 and 16, after offering them cigarettes, and encouraged them to kiss each other while he watched them.

substandard care and abuse !! ...

substandard care and abuse !! In a sting group home MGR charged with se crimes on 2 teens!! ( the bradford era) I have asked Brian larson , Nate gressel , Michele Kicior, Robin Smith , Jessica MackBundy for help related to what I feel is substandard care and abuse. I have reordings and pictures. Also my child was hurt when glass shattered all over her from head to toe they refuse to document or give me reports. All they know is how to do lie and hide info. Unlicensed therapist fresh out of school is the help my child gets.My child has been made fun of and picked on by staff!! Even with a recording ( they refuse to listen to ) my child is a liar they dont want to know the truth!!To avoid a law suit I will say this is my view and the way I feel and statements are "alleged".
