This is one of my favorite bars in Minneapolis. I love the atmosphere. The lighting is dim and colorful. There are colored light bulbs everywhere. There is random artwork all over the walls, the bar is wood with melted candle wax all over it. The couches are comfortable, large and any person will sink in them. This is a great place for a date and to get together with friends. I love coming here in the winter where I can lounge on the couches with my friends and have some drinks. Parking is not great. It's in Dinkytown, so you'll have to park a few blocks away and walk unless you take the bus. The service here is ok. Some people are friendlier than others. There is a stage and dance floor for live music and dancing. There is a small patio on the side of the bar. They have heat lamps on the fall and winter.
If you are 30 plus this is the place to go. The bands are great, and you don't feel like you dont belong there. The age group is mostly over 30-60plus, but doesn't mean it doesn't ROCK! It has pool tables, darts, poker, and a great dance floor to dance the night away. You will see some younger ages there, but will feel like this is where you belong, being with a more mature crowd. Lots of ladies and men there, always looking to dance and party with. Dress code, is none, other then the normal shoes, shirt required. Some dress totally country, while others dress more like a rock star, and sexy. Anything goes for what to wear here.
Wow what an amazing place. everything you order is AMAZING. These people actually make REAL food... isn't that crazy the dressing is home made, the grilled chicken is really grilled, the pickle are fresh sliced. None of this food is processed NONE OF IT IS PROCESSED< They serve breakfast all day, and they deliver. I have eatin it for 3 days straight... WHY, YOU ASK? It's like having a wife that cooks you home made meals that taste good. and whats better than that NO BALKTALK.. thats right! they will gladly make you a samich without calling you an A**hole
