The food is mediocre. went to buffet thrice in 4 Weeks and the menu were the same. Went to dinner twice and the food was not good. Bit pricey, would visit for a try once in a while. And yes, the servers were smelly. Their sweat could be smelled from a mile away. Most Indian people from India smell awful. They need to take a shower.
I went to this restaurant for the first time today. I ordered Chilli chicken (spicy) and a garlic nan. The chicken dish came with a bowl of rice. The Nan was soft and tasty, as good as any other I ate at other Indian restaurants in US. A bit more garlic would have made it better. The chilli chicken was so much in quantity that I could barely eat a third of it. I could not believe that it was meant for just one person (while I was there, I noticed that the portions of other items being served to other customers were also huge). The chicken was quite tasty, except that it had a bit of sugar. I am not a fan of sugar in my spicy chicken . Next time I go, I will instruct them not to add sugar. The ambiance is OK, neither upscale nor cheap. The diet coke I ordered had free re-fills. Overall, I will try this restaurant again and I would recomment it to others. Just watch out for the portions; unless you are a big meat eater, one chicken item would be sufficient for at least two.\r
\r
The meal cost just over $20 along with 15% tip.
I tried this place after reading reviews on Yelp and was suprised at the service. The food was quiet good,we ordered 5 different dishes which took a while to get cooked.Only reason iam not giving it 5 stars ,the waiters need to use deodrant. 2 waiters who served, wow their armpits really stinked.
Well that it....
Sundays are your best deal with the all you can eat buffet for $8.99. Delivery to local Walnut Creek/Pleasant Hill area but I suggest picking it up for quicker service. The food is the best and the service is okay.
