        Great Americana

        This is the great old fashioned American restaurant. Huge portions, experienced waitresses who know how to keep the coffee hot and food coming. It is pricey for what it is, but the quality is excellent and the meals are big enough for two or for a left-over meal the next day. I love the open faced smoked turkey sandwich, and the chicken fried steak and eggs for breakfast. I have become a coffee snob over the years, and the coffee here tastes like Folgers Choice or something else cheap and burnt, but since that is what I grew up on, I drink it for pure nostalgia.
