Surprised the last review was so long ago! However, the food quality has been excellent over all these years. We really love the Staff.
Really enjoyed the food, friendly atmosphere and a great spot to dine before the theater!

I went to Massimo last Friday night with some friends. It was rather busy, but we sat in the bar anway and listened to this great piano player. I have been to Massimo many times and have to say its my fave restaurant in WC. Always consistently great food, great service, and they have one of the best wine lists around. We started out our eve by ordering some yummy appetizers - calamari, crisp, yet, tender, and the oysters. Both were great! For dinner, I had their signature waldorf salad...butter lettuce, apple slices, grapes, a little stilton cheese and ooh..those honey glazed walnuts! My main course was the filet mignon with potato gratin. Let me just say that their filet beats any steakhouse in the area! Cooked perfectly, and a decent portion! It didn't stop there...we all shared some desserts. They have this decadent chocolate creme brulee topped with thinly sliced bananas. Oh my word... delish! Everyone was happy, and I highly recommend Massimo and will definitely be back for more!

I ate here pre-theater so we dined pretty early the few other patrons were in for the early bird special. Waiter was professional but funny and friendly. The food was quite good. I was pleasently surprised as we picked it for proximity to the Lesher Center. I had the soup of the day - mushroom. My date's marinara sause was excellent, wonderful basil flavor. No dessert, so cannot comment. I would look forward to going back.

This is a great little place to eat. with wonderfull food. Don't go there if you are in a hurry a lot of the food takes time to cook, which is good. The owner is a perfectionist and doesn't like things to be bad. Please go and enjoy
