        Civic Arts Education, located in Walnut Creek, Calif., is one of the largest community arts programs in the region. It has been offering arts classes for more than 40 years. The organization s programs are offered in various areas, including arts appreciation, calligraphy, ceramics and sculpture, computer arts, dance and drama, and drawing and painting. It also provides programs in glass and interior designing, jewelry and photography, textile and fiber arts, and music. Civic Arts Education program provides support for new ideas, and assists in improving self-expression. It offers visual and performing art classes and programs to more than 15,000 adults, youth and children every year. Its ArtReach program serves children, teachers and school districts through partnerships supported by the Department of Education and the California Department of Education.
