I know, I know... A Starbucks review can't me all that helpful. You are right, but what sets this one apart from all the rest is the setting. This is a gazebo style building built on top of a koi pond. On a typical nice day in walnut creek it is a good place to enjoy a morning coffee. As a parent I love that the kids can run around outdoors and not bother folks.

This is THE spot in Walnut Creek for that craft coffee you've been craving. This local craft shouldn't be considered in the same category as chain options - it's a different type of thing. You pay more, sure, but the taste is there. High quality espresso, delicious pastries, and a good vibe. The place fills fast with those using free wifi to work.
I've been going to this shopping center since it opened but this is my first time visiting the Coffee Bean - I'll be back. Very pleasant staff and great coffee. It feels more like a local coffee house instead of a chain - great selection of teas and drinks. Free wifi and a lot of students fill the place up.
