I had a very pleasant experience with exchanging a perfume gift at Dillard's. Spray perfumes are not for me and I can only use lotion or cream. When the nice associate scanned the barcode it would not accept it. She called in her manager and I was so embarrassed when she told me the item was a Valentine gift set and here it is December! My, how the days flew by since my Birthday in February. Ha, I'm at that age, I guess, and since I had the gift in my closet (still in Dillard's bag), I forgot about it. With the item still in mint condition and the barcode intact, they honored my exchange and I was thrilled to get my large lotion and surprisingly a gift card for the remainder of the gift value. My Birthday gift is now a Christmas gift, too. How sweet it that?!
The staff is friendly and attempts to be helpful. Unfortunately, there is a frenetic level of activity at all times- even when there are no customers awaiting service. Confusion reigns. The projected wait is "15 minutes" and this holds true whether you stay in the waiting area, go to a different part of the store. pre-order via internet or give the pharmacy a full day before returning for the medication. Complication include- inability to find the prescription /renewal, cross communication among the very numerous staff persons or simple inability to find the medications and paper work regardless of time lapse. While the staff tries hard, shopping at this pharmacy is a labor-intensive experience best passed up.
Since the store has opened we have frequently visited and I am very pleased with each visit. The employees are ALWAYS friendly and ALWAYS have smiles on thier faces. The place itself is exceptionally clean and well organized in comparison to other Dollar Gen's that we've visited.
