        Commercial Vehicle Group manufactures seats for the heavy truck and motorcoach industries in North America. Originating in 1920, Commercial Vehicle Group manufactured rail and streetcar seating in California operating under the name of Art Rattan Works. By 1948, the company began to focus on the motorcoach industry. In 1985, the company relocated to Vonore, Tenn., and achieved its position in the heavy truck air seating industry, while continuing to produce motorcoach seating. Tucked away amidst the Great Smoky Mountains, the company develops, engineers and manufactures heavy truck seats, motorcoach passenger and driver seats. The company s facilities include a technical center and a 225,000-square-foot production facility. Commercial Vehicle Group is a QS 9000 certified company.
