        In 1999, as a new homeowner who needed literally tons of fill dirt/topsoil and all the materials for a large, concrete retaining wall, I felt thrilled that I got the “inside track” or “inside scoop” on this great place called Sunrise Materials. A neighbor who knew a professional contractor “hooked me up” with info about Sunrise Materials, its location and 6:00am ‘contractors’ hours that meant we could comfortably work from sunrise to about 1:00pm on our enormous outdoor project. We called ahead to let them know the volume of materials we would need, and because of the convenient drive-through, the 8-mile round-trip to/from Sunrise Materials and Shadowridge took less than a half-hour.
