Healthy eating is important to the development of your child so that they grow and develop well. At Mirna's Family Child Day Care our goal is to instill healthy eating habits at a young age that a child can carry through their lifetime. We provide snacks and meals to your child that follows the USDA guidelines. Mirna's Family Child Day Care makes sure to promote healthy lifelong eating habits. We understand the importance of creating these good habits at a young age to make it easier for someone to learn them and carry them on. As you know, children are like sponges, so the sooner they can learn good habits, the better. Another focus at Mirna's Family Child Day Care is social development. By joining our programs children are able to interact with other children their age. This will help them to develop socially and develop their character. It also teaches children how to share and play nicely with others. It may even help in developing their mobility and speech because if one child is doing something they will want to mimic their friends as they try to mimic the adults at home. We also offer potty training assistance which is definitely a large help to parents. Mirna's Family Child Day Care hopes to help turn your children into well rounded individuals. Mirna's Family Child Day Care also focuses on learning. We do several different learning activities throughout the day to keep the children engaged, having fun and learning. Some of the learning activities we do are: Art projects, Singing and Story Time. The reason we utilize art projects as a learning activity is because they develop motor skills, creativity and curiosity. Singing provides a fun way to learn and story time helps to encourage a love for reading. Our goal is to build a lifelong love for learning in your child.
