        Both Care Veterinary Clinic and Care at the Courtyard Veterinary Clinic offer complete small animal wellness care, dental, and surgical services, with avian care provided at our Courtyard location. Our patients come to us from Visalia, Tulare, and the surrounding area, for the quality veterinary care and extraordinary pet owner support.Our Mission We provide the highest quality veterinary care for our patients by informing you about the latest in pet health care and preventive medicine. We strive to help you make educated decisions surrounding your veterinary care. This allows you to choose the best care for your animal companions, helping them live a longer and healthier life.Our goal is to practice the highest quality veterinary medicine and surgery with compassion and with an emphasis on client education. Our entire health care team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet and owner.Our HistoryIn 1978, the clinic started as a limited primary care facility. Five years later, the clinic was expanded to a full care facility with the addition of a laboratory, radiology department, and surgical suite. The practice soon outgrew the small building, and, in 1992, the hospital was renovated to accommodate the growing number of patients. In 2000, the addition of two new doctors required that we expand again. We purchased the facility previously known as Diamond Veterinary Hospital and created Care at the Courtyard Veterinary Clinic. Together, our hospitals offer 11 veterinarians and a dedicated support team skilled in small animal care. Both locations enjoy full laboratory, radiology, ultrasonography, dental, and surgical suites. In addition, our Courtyard location offers specialized services for our feathered friends._

        I have been going to this vet a long time and they are usually wonderful the intake staff is friendly and they always try to fit me in during an emergency even without an appointment. They've been wonderful with my animals. I've only had one staff member in several years of going say something slightly insensitive to the situation. It is a bit pricey but I've noticed all vet clinics are going in a direction of money over compassion. Lucky this clinic seams to still have the compassion element among their staff and vet docs.

        Best Ever

        I started taking my first dog here in 1993. I now have 3 other dogs and they all go here. THe staff and doctors at this clinic are amazing! They treat both my pet and my family with loving care. My first dog was quite sick in the last few years of her life and we moved a lot during that time. Of all the vets she went to including specialists, I would give care vet the highest recommendation. We see Dr. Lori and Dr. Peterson, but I would feel comfortable allowing any of their doctors to treat my babies.
