Bostic Veterinary Hospital

This year we added 2 new Babies to our family after we lost our 9.5 year old Female minpin march 2019, we were crushed, we wanted a freah start with a Vet. We were refered to Dr Manning at Bostic by our Neibor’s and now Bonus fur parents to our new babies. On Nov16, 2020 I handed my 10 month old nervously to a tech to be spayed, They knew I was nervous about leaving her (ptsd from our baby that passed last year) They calles us as they started her spay and said she was doing well, they called us directly after to let us know she was doing well was comfortable and resting, they were so kind when i called a
few times to check on her that day since she was staying the night. we picked her up the next day, she was happy, and her lil incision is neat and she hasnt tryed to bother it at all, no ecoller needed. Best experience ive ever had after a surgery, its been a week and you wouldnt know she had surgery. only complaint and its not really a complaint we understand its needed, was she is now sporting what looks like a poodle or chicken leg and a super bare chest and belly area til she grows her fur back, we can live with that, Both our Babies love going to these Vets. they are awesome.

Bostic Vet Hospital has always given me and my pets first-class treatment. There is a friendly intimacy at Bostic. The staff and doctors know my name and my pets' names and care nearly as much about my pets' health as I do! They have been my vet for 32 years, and even though I live just a few blocks from another vet clinic, I would never consider leaving Bostic.

I've been taking my 3 beagles and 1 cat to Bostic Veterinary Hospital for years now. The doctors and staff have always been top notch. Yes, going to the vet is expensive, I never get out for under a hundred dollars, but owning pets is an expensive endeavor - it's something that comes with the commitment.

What I love about the Bostic staff is that they give me options - different types of treatment for different prices. They understand that these services are expensive, so they will always tell me the cost of a shot or medicine before I make a decision. The doctors are knowledgeable, Dr. Manning is terrific, and you know he loves animals. The staff are always, ALWAYS friendly, and they have a service where if you bring a new rescue, the initial exam is free! I highly recommend these wonderful people.

Wonderful, kind doctors to our difficult cat patient. We were so impressed with their concern and care. Highly recommend this group.

Cannot say enough good things about this wonderful crew that greets and treats my Golden Retriever Hunter. He is my Furbaby and they treat him as they would their own. My family has gone to Bostic Veterinary Hospital for many years 50 maybe, Dr. Bostic of course has passed on after years of treating my family pets but also our horses and cattle. Fortunately he passed on his superb qualities to Dr.Gail Szabo. I will not go any where else!

I have taken my precious dogs to Bostic Veterinary Hospital since the 1980s. Each time, for each dog, they have been correctly diagnosed and treated with loving, compassionate care. Three dogs had to be let go because of severe mobility problems—thankfully there were 15 to 17 years old—but still heartbreaking. With each one, Dr Gail Szabo was caring, compassionate cared about my grief. I have also seen Dr Manning who has also exhibited the same care and expertise. I never felt pressured to buy anything. The staff has always been competent and professional, from the groomers to reception to vet techs. I want to thank and compliment the whole staff.

I was a little taken back by some of the reviews since some seemed to expect gushes of welcome and hugs and kisses.
This is a professional group who gives great care to your furry babies. Buck up Bucky. It’s a cold, cruel world out there. Be grateful they are there.

Dr. Szabo has been my family's vet since 2001 when we had our first two Golden Retrievers. She was always there to help direct us through the wellness process, preparing us for the breeding process, OFA certification, the good days and the scary days you experience during the years. Her entire office staff is well trained, very compassionate and knows how to put your pet at ease. Dr. Szabo over the many years has become a friend and was there at the end for both of my Goldens to help make their passing just a bit easier.

I now have another young Golden and she has been proactive in his care and necessary referral to a specialist. As a pet owner it is impossible to explain how good it feels to have complete confidence in your vet!

In addition Bostic Veterinary was my parents vet since the 60's for my horses, my ducks, cats and dogs. Dr. Bostic before he passed did it all! How is that for a track record?

I have taken my beloved dogs to Bostic Veterinary Hospital for many years and absolutely love everyone there. Dr. Gail Szabo is a truly caring veterinarian. From the moment she enters the room, you can tell how much she loves her patients. She is up on the very latest treatment options and she follows up to make sure your pet is doing well. Every member of the staff is caring and considerate. I highly recommend Bostic Veterinary Hospital.

We took our Cairn to have his teeth cleaned and when we got him back he was limping. The teeth cleaning set us back $400. Today we were told he has a torn or partially torn ACL and that is what is causing the limp. They suggest surgery which will set us back 1500 dollars and today's visit set us back 280 dollars. When reminded he wasn't limping when he arrived for the teeth cleaning we got no response. Our poor little guy is going through massive amounts of trauma as a result of an injury he didn't have before he got his teeth cleaned. What happened to him? We may never know but I'll tell you this much I will NEVER trust these people with any of my pets again! I have only put down poor because you can't give negative stars!

Lack of professionalism and nickle and dime you to death.



I took my newly adopted dog here to treat an ear infection and catch him up on vaccinations to get him into obedience school. The first visit was almost $300 and we were instructed to return 30 days later. Upon arrival, the Doc said that the ear infection was not cured and we had to treat the ear with a different antibiotic (which is understandable that all antibiotics don't work all the time), this visit cost us $150. They again instructed us to return in 2 weeks and gave us 2 cards good for free exams.



2 weeks later we returned and were denied usage of the free exam cards. One of the vaccinations that were on the list also were not administered to my animal. Upon contacting the practice manager, she was more interested in telling me how I was at fault in the matter and how I was wrong, rather than listen to my concerns as a customer and how I feel like I had been neglected and taken advantage of.



There are several other Vets in very close proximity to this Vet. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

Saw the other reviews and someone was being ridiculous. Good clinic and staff. Professionalism is excellent.

Sometimes people dont get any feedback regarding their business or service. I have been taking my cats here for several years and appreciate the care they receive every time. Good place to take your pets.

I am new to the area and found the Bostnik Clinic for my dog. I was very pleased with the service and professionalism I found there. Feel my pup is in good hands there.

Dont ever go there if you want to continue to see your Pet ALIVE!!!!!
