Two days before New Years, my family doctor told me I needed to have a stress test by a cardiologist ASAP. Dr. Parikh was the only cardiologist in Victoria that would examine me (a brand new patient), on Dec. 31, 2015. Veronica answered the phone, listened carefully to my situation (chest pains).. someone who had 2 stents back in 2001.. in need of a cardiologist to help me. She relayed my words to Dr. Parikh, and I was scheduled Thursday, the 31st.

Dr. Parikh and his assistants gave me several tests. I wasn't in severe pain, but after reading my history 15 years ago, he decided to take no chances.

The outcome is that I have a condition that can be treated with 2 heart medications and a slight diet modification.

These medicines will alleviate and help prevent future chest pain; help me build up my heart muscle; and make it possible for me to function normally and go to work daily.

It has been pointed out to me by medical people, including my brothers (both doctors), that Dr. Parikh may have saved my life, and definitely improved the quality of my life in the future!

He is truly one of the nicest, most professional and personable doctors I've ever met. His staff of several nurses, techs. and clerical are extraordinary!

I am forever grateful to Dr. Parikh. When I was leaving, he made it very clear to me, that he's just a phone call away, if an emergency ever arises.
