I wish I could give this service provider a negative star rating!! They deserve -20 stars!! We have NEVER in the history of customer service gotten such horrendous treatment and incompetence!!! Trying to port a telephone number away from Wind Stream to another carrier is like pulling teeth with Wind Stream throwing up road blacks at each step. We wouldn't have wanted to leave WS in the first place, but their internet signal kept going in and out. When a call (being on hold for about 25 minutes) to ask why our internet was out resulted in a rude CSR named Frank refusing to allow my husband to speak to a manager, we decided we didn't need their abuse and called Time Warner to set-up installation of telephone and internet service. This actually saved us almost $40 a month on these services as well; however, after 2 weeks WS still refused to port the original telephone number. If they get it in for you, they can create numerous ways to make your life miserable, i.e., like entering the wrong PIN number on your account so that the port work order gets rejected. My advice to those looking for reliable ISP/phone service with competent customer service is to look at anyone EXCEPT Wind Stream.!!!! They stink on ice!!!
