There is something extremely wrong with the owner Dave. He was very rude, abusive and nasty for no reason. Avoid this bike shop at all costs.

Got flat tire on my electric bike. Since we have done business with them before I took it there. The front tire assembly is just like any other bike. Nothing special. I made the mistake telling them it was an electric bike. They refused even to look at how easy the flat repair would have been. I considered it a real slap in the face since we had bought bikes there,had repair work done and bought a lot of add ons. Took it to another bike shop no problem. Will never be back

I bought a commuter May 06, 2011 and two months later, I bought a road bike both from Real Bikes. I absolutely love both of my bikes and whenever they needed service, Real Bikes' mechanics have gone above and beyond. Real bikes caters to all types of riders from novice to racing professional and carry every bike in between! the owners and staff at Real Bikes are serious cyclists themselves, most of the time getting to and from work on bike! They carry a huge selection of riding apparel, shoes, helmets, mirrors and even a cute basket to put your pooch in. They meet every Saturday for a friendly 'no drop' ride and the turnout is always pretty big. I see Real Bikes becoming a true Venice icon very soon! Don't visit Venice without stopping in Real and renting a bike to ride our amazing Legacy Trail. You won't be disappointed!
