Franciscan Medical Clinic - Vashon Island

I am still attempting for this paticular doctors office to respond to the three faxes and my own phone calls that have only reached the black hole that must be their message machine. All I have wanted for the past week is cough syrup refill that I can take at night to help ease the hacking cough that has persisted for the past two weeks so I can get a full nights sleep. But not only are they apparently awful at responding to the pharmacy I was fairly disappointed in level of medical knowledge of my doctor that attempted to diagnosed me. She couldn't understand why my cough was not accompanied by any sinus problems. And yes I told her a couple times there was nothing wrong with my nose. So she himed and hawwed. And did exactly what my mom, who had to take me in, asked while I laid on the table because I would cough everything in my stomach right out while I was fighting a 102 temp under control with Tylenol, probably on about a max of 3 hours of sleep the night before, and was forced to wait about 45 minutes for my appointment. And no it isn't a sinus infection. In fact after doing no test except breath in and out for me while I hold this stethoscope, and oh there is nothing in your ears and mouth. I still was unsurprisingly not officially diagnosed with anything. Even though I'm on my third week of a cough that kept me out of work for two of them. Maybe I just have too high of standards...

I've never in my life had a worse experience with a doctors office. And after talking with a few of the locals apparently this sub par level of care is a common thing. Next time it might just be easier driving into Seattle.
