I've taken my car here for oil changes and small repairs. I work close by and my Co workers take their cars here for routine oil changes. My car was overheating, I took it here and was told it needed a water pump, was quoted for the work. Didn't have the $ so I saved up, went back. Now I'm told the price doubled because it needed a new thermostat housing. I figured that was probably accurate since I couldn't get it in sooner, more damage occured.Since I only had the $ from the earlier quote I asked if I could pay for parts and make payments on labor since im a repeat customer I thought they'd consider it. I'm also a single mom of 3. I was told no. I borrowed $ and had them fix it.Not even 24 hrs later my car overheated 40 miles away from my home. We turned the heater on and my kids and i rolled down our windows in 90 deg weather to make it home. We were too far from the shop so I called, the mechanic on shift said that it's most likely a faulty part on the thermostat housing and to bring it in Monday on my way into work. We cancelled our plans for Sunday and I brought it in Monday.Received a call in the afternoon telling me that my radiator is bad and possible something to do with my cooling and heating system. Quoting my another $800. I asked then if they'd take payment arrangements was told no again. Asked them to park my car outside and I'd come get it to get another opinion. I was told that the car shouldn't be driven, that it's not holding water and I'd be lucky if it would drive a mile away. I checked it for water the next day, there was a lot in there, topped it off. I let the car idle for a while, temp was steady and no water was leaking. I drove it 15 miles away to another shop where I was told that it appears that the lines werect purged properly after the lady repairs. There was air trapped causing the car to overheat. The radiator was not good but it sounds like it was recently damaged due to air in the lines. I can't prove this was their fault but I do feel I was taken advantage of, an easy target. I got my radiator fixed for a fraction of what they wanted to charge me. These guys aren't honest and aren't willing to work with hard working people in the community.

Wonderful place for gas and more

Honestly, being a Shell station, they usually have the cheapest gas of all the rest. The people are so nice and it doesn't hurt to have them within walking distance.
