        The Certified Nursing Assistant Program is an accelerated curriculum that prepares students to pass the Washington State Nursing Assistant exam and begin a career in the healthcare industry. As part of your curriculum you will also earn an AHA Healthcare Provider CPR and First Aid card, and the 7 hour HIV-AIDS certification you will need for licensing. Nursing Assistants work in many healthcare environments, including: hospitals, doctor's offices, assisted living, hospice and skilled nursing facilities. According to the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of Nursing Assistants is expected to grow faster than average for all occupations through 2014!         The CNA program at Northwest NAC Training really prepared me to work in the field of caregiving. The instructors were so good and caring and really wanted all of us students to do well. Most of the students were all pre-nursing students and encouraged me to continue on my training to become a Registered Nurse. Thank you for everything that I have learned.
