A great Happy Hour restaurant -- fantastic bargains at happy hour almost too good to miss. Food is fantastic!! Servings are proper and filling. Prices are reasonable and even lower at happy hour. I have a friend from out of town who visits a few times a year and Beaches is a MUST each time he comes into town!!! I have to agree, they are one of the best places to eat drink and be merry, but you do not have to drink to be merry and happy at beaches. They do get crowded, so be prepared for a wait, however it is open seating in the patio and bar area and they serve the same food there too. Also, in good weather, you can seat outside and watch the doings on the river. Did I mention that they are right on the shore, and if you have a boat, they have a landing too!!

OUTSTANDING!!!! My Father and a friend and I try out various restaurants each week. I chose this one as I thought I had been there before, but I found out that I had not. I was not disappointed, it was great and the prices were very reasonable and the portions are large. My friend from India loved it and has been telling everyone he meets how good it was. My Dad had a fish sandwich and he loved it too. I had a chili-size and it was really good, but too much for me to eat. I will be going back for breakfast and will try it for dinner. It is not a fancy place, but the staff is warm and friendly and the food is great.
Exceptional family style restaurant, with friendly service, good food, and excellent soups. I get to Vancouver a couple times a month and after my recent visit this will be my luncheon spot of choice. An unscientific poll of the patrons would indicate that all the menu options are very good, and I can attest that the chicken salad sandwich is as advertised, "The Best", and if they have their tomato bisque soup, don't pass up the chance. One more thing, gentlemen are not required to wear ties. My one complaint, the sign out front is too small, I almost didn't find it.
