this campground USED to be great. if you have children..do yourself a favor and don't come. all of the shown ammenities are either closed, broken or not available for 1 reason or another.. the check in staff/ owner is beyond rude.. give it a year or two and come back, it will be under new ownership, or out of business by then. don't have space to go into details on here, but check out their facebook page 48 negative reviews ALL about staff/owner rudeness... sad, it was a great camp ground, and still have nice features, but they could care less if you are happy there or not, used to have 2 year waiting list to get seasonal lot... now under new owner...there are 15-20 open sites, with many campers for sale. we were there the last week of july first of august.. great weather, and there were 95% open weekend sights OPEN... it should have been sold out. do yourself a favor.. goto KOA in bluffton, or any where else... if you have no kids.. and are just passing through and need a place to camp..you will be fine, as long as you don't make personal contact with office staff...it is a nice shady ...clean camp ground...very quiet from the lack of guests

The new name for this campground should be UNPLEASANTVIEW because that is what the new owner (3 yrs) is. VERY UNPLEASANT! In the last 3 years he has lost more business than he has gained because of his attitude and business practices and how he treats his customers. He doesn't know how to treat people. He is a tyrant. We learned not to trust him. Watch your back especially if he thinks you have crossed him and it doesn't take much to do that in his eyes. I'd like to be positive but he only way he can improve is to have a major attitiude change about how to treat paying customers, both weekenders AND permanent site holders.
