        I recently used Kennihan's to ...

        I recently used Kennihan's to perform our yearly gas water heater inspection. This is only the second year that I have had this done. I used Mr. Water Heater last year. While the technician from Kennihan's was very polite and seemed knowledgeable, he performed less work at $60 more than Mr. Water Heater.

        All the Kennihan's technician did was empty some of the tank to check the water, he checked the flame and he checked for carbon monoxide. Last year, Mr. Water Heater did those things plus checked the outlet water pressure and temperature, for $60 less.

        The Kennihan's technician spent 10-15 minutes setting up and trying to sell me his carbon monoxide detector, which is just a basic in-home carbon monoxide detector. I was expecting to pay for a water heater inspection, not a sales pitch. When it came to time to figure out how long he was there, I noticed he added an extra 8 minutes to bump me up to the next 15 minute increment.

        If you are looking for any water heater work, I would call Mr. Water Heater before Kennihan's.
