Parkway Motorcars

There should be negative stars for a business. Bought a used Hyundai Elantra from this place. Wish I had gone anywhere else. I walked out of the price negotiations three times, since they couldn't meet my budget. Each time they came to chase me out, enticing me with a slightly better offer, trying to con me into giving every penny that I had. Wish I didn't go over what I wanted to spend, because these people do not deserve ANY business. I've never had so many problems with a car in the first month of owning it.

3 days after having the car I was driving to SD. My check engine light and oil light came on before I made it there. I had to be towed somewhere and was informed that I needed a $550 repair.

After, I took the car to my trusty mechanic, and had him look it over (so I'd be more aware of what I got myself into...) He said that two of the tires and rims had to be replaced, it needed a tune up, transmission flush, the brakes had 50% on them and the brake lights were not working at all. All of this work needed on a car that was in my possession for a week.

I went back Parkway and ranted my week's disgust. They said that I bought the car "as is" and they were not obligated to do anything. They said they'd take a look at things and try to figure out what they could do... They got the brake lights working but never told me what was wrong. They "repaired" the broken rims and said the tires were fine. They ignored all the other issues.

Immediately after, I went to get 2 new tires and rims. Found out the mechanics at Parkway didn't screw the bolts on the car correctly, and the mechanic (at the tire shop) had to break the bolts to get the dead tire off. On top of it my battery died in the parking lot.

The list goes on and on with how much I'd highly advise AGAINST going here. These salesmen prey on women. Diego was great before the purchase, then after the problems, his attitude was very disrespectful. The service center takes FOREVER and they're incompetent. Even the guy who does the financial portion of the sale left a bad taste in my mouth... Please do yourself a favor, and stay away from this place!!

The reason I placed so much faith in this dealer was because USAA had them on their approved list. Little did I know that that service, is actually the service TrueCar. I filed a complaint with them and they have been flagged. If you had any complaints of this dealer, I suggest you complain to anyone that will listen.
